To make traveling for stories easier, Wendy collaborated with woodworker Max Shulz to design and build a fully contained mobile studio in the back of a Honda Element. With blackout window coverings, Wendy has travelled to draw stories on truck stops, small towns, and city streets, all undetected. Her full-time mode of transportation, Wendy always takes her studio with her, and is ready to jump out and draw (then jump back in to paint) the moment something or somebody captures her attention.
